Hi all, Don't know if any are aware but Rob and a few of us have been at work behind closed doors (giggedy) and have come up with a way for you to add your custom skins to your cars so that they will be visible in the stream for the next race and also if you wish too visible on your screens during the race and in replays. Please refer to this thread for info on what to send to SRO and in what format: https://simracingonline.co.uk/threads/custom-skins-for-acc.29165/ Specifically this post for exact file and folder requirements: https://simracingonline.co.uk/threads/custom-skins-for-acc.29165/#post-74905 Rob has found a guide to making a skin here: https://simracingonline.co.uk/threads/custom-skins-for-acc.29165/#post-74823 and submit the required .zip as a file upload to this thread: https://simracingonline.co.uk/threads/acc-custom-skin-upload-thread.29383/ Ping Rob for any help or ping me if you need help with the skin/files. I hope to see a colourful grid next Saturday
Sorry gonna have to miss this one, I tweaked a muscle or something in my back earlier and its just not fun sat in my game rig looked like it might be a good race too, some bentley looking quick out there...
That I did not expect. I normally run mid pack, not run away with the lead . Congrats on the P2, 3 & 4 fight at the end, that was fun to watch. Sorry for the end messages Gymer, I know from round 1 that you run longer before your pit stop and when I came out 36 seconds behind I knew I had to push to prevent you getting the over shoot in the pit. But then your number disappeared from my track map so I thought you had dropped connection. I didn't see that you pitted and ended up in the fight for 2/3rd. I will try and not run away so much on the next races (though I suspect this result was a lucky fluke). Chuffed that the Bentleys looked good on screen though . Hope that everyone else that wants to run a custom skin sends one in. It'll make the grid look great in the streams.
Disappointed to qually 6th, despite being 3rd in practise... do people not put in laps! Having seen the conditions i dropped the current tyres and also the tyres for the pitstop First few laps were pretty manic. Having watched it back have to feel sorry for Tanner! Not sure I would have got past the Audi if he hadnt gone off and I got past but then it was a case of just putting the laps in and monitoring the gap to Simon ahead. Seemed to be quicker and closed the gap down until pitting. I realised quite soon that dropping the pressures did not work and the pressures were around 0.5psi low, yet can set my fasted lap in the early laps before they change and you need ot manage them more. And despite feeling like i was quicker than Simon on his old tyres he came out only 4 secs behind so was resigned to him coming past. Once again we all closed up and with Simon making a rare mistake and dropping back gave me the last two laps right behind Bali but never a chance. Felt far more comfortable in the car here despite not really clicking with the setup or tyres.
