So like the first two races... take away another 3 seconds and then you will get the real pace?:D

@Matias Estrela read my thoughts :D

Was slightly off the pace in qualifying but couldn't get much more time out of the car there.

Lap 1 was fun but I made a mistake near the end of the lap behind @Kimi Martikainen which gave me a bit of front damage. I gradually moved up positions purely due to other cars going off or being involved in incidents. It was really clear that the Corvette wasn't good here due to the gearing being far too long and in hindsight I probably should have gone with the shorter gears. @Matias Estrela recovered after he went off earlier and we tangled into T1 but it was a racing incident. He found his way past shortly after because of the better speed of the Bizzarini. @Paul Upham span at the last corner and I passed him there but it was pretty tough to hold him off. He passed me on the straight before T1 but I got the better run into the quarry section and re-passed him into the uphill left hander which was probably the highlight of my race. Happy with 4th here, especially with a car that wasn't suited to the track. Congrats to the podium.

    @Jari Laakkonen
really sorry for those two punts, it seems I still don't know how long Bizzarrini is.
    does anyone have a replay?
my game didn't save it and I would like to see some situations.

My first race at Bremgarten and my first race with a Jag E-Type so had plenty to learn on the job! Had a bad start getting on the grass on cold tyres which span me and put me 20 secs behind the whole grid on lap 1...i'm an idiot! So then it was just a case of getting used to the car/track combo without killing myself. Ended up 9th so not a bad nights work.

Quick question, am i wasting my time in the Jag? it seemed so much slower than every car i saw tonight, so wondered if i should pick something gruntier like a Cobra etc? As most of the tracks in the series seem like power courses.

Anybody can choose another car. But you lose all championship points if you do. :)

Not the best race. Too bad because I was on the same pace as Maddie. I spun in the hairpin on lap 2 and lost places to some cars. Then Phil braked early and I went into the barrier trying to avoid him which cost me some more places. Back behind Phil another early brake where I didn't brake at all. Small tap there, sorry about that, but totally unexpected for me. Then I had a 12 second gap to close to John which I did. We came together after we went side by side through a fast corner. Then later on John went too hot on the inside of a corner. And then I lost my concentration and mistook a corner for another one and went full speed into the hut. I went in the air and under the track and got reset to the pits and a lap down.. too bad, would have been P6. But it could have been better without the incidents of course. The Corvette certainly got slower after the updates and feels dumbed down quite a bit unfortunately.

Not sure if it got slower but the gear ratios kill a lot of the car's pace. It has really good potential top speed but takes too long to get there because 4th is so long. I think the Bizzarini and Ferrari both have 5 gears and a lot more usable power, plus they're lighter.

It was good as long as it last, weird connection issues. At my end all was good but maybe somewhere in finland was BIG problems, I don“t know.

The gearing does not help indeed. I was also on the long gears at Bannochbrae which was probably wrong. But somehow it doesn't feel like the muscle car it felt at Reims. I should compare lap times after the update with the ones before to know for sure.

Except for the Porsche 904/6
The Jag seemed quite ok in Reims (pre-update) but wasnt that good anymore in Bannochbrae (post-update). So tough question, if you don't mind about the championship, why not change the car every round...

First, thanks for the broadcast @Caitlin Penny. I friend of mine, also enjoyed your commentary and watching my suffering. Regarding your comments on the Porsche 904/5, as you said in Bannochbrae, it is probably the worst car in the mod (weight/power ratio), but other than you suspect, the missing power cannot be compensated by good handling. The car drives like a truck and has a lot of understeering. With Matias setup tips it got a bit better and actually I was surprised that the car is quite constant, even though constantly bad on different circuits, but still something. There is also presumably a driving technique (turn left to turn right and vice versa, risk a lot on the apexes and on braking) which could help to find even more time, so I will give it another shot next round.

Maybe I can avoid to be lapped, it was possible this time, but I crashed to often yesterday. Most of the time into Forsthaus (yes, really german for Forresthouse) where I took to much of a risk under braking and where I bent my steering in the last 10 minutes. And even though I was still in P9, I run out of fuel, because the race was faster than I anticipated... When it rains it pours.

I had a great race until about the 45 min mark when, for some reason, I really struggled to keep sharp focus. I started making little mistakes which, on this track, quickly turn in to big mistakes. I apologize to Laurent for tapping him after I recovered from a spin. The little tap caused us both to spin, but, because of the large spread in time, I don't think either of us lost another place for that one. I am finding the 60 min races, quite the work out. I am thinking I may need to turn down the FFB a little! lol.
Thanks to all for the great battles and I look forward to the next one.

yes i realised your little Porsche was slower, hence why i gave you a 20 second headstart on lap1 by spinning :p
i quite liked driving the Jag once i got used to it, but sadly i had only had two half hour practise sessions to learn both track and car, so that didnt help. It was the shear ease that other cars blasted past me on anything resembling a straight that made me think i am in the wrong car! o_O
