rFactor 2 Round 3 Dijon Prenois

Yeah I cut the car folders and pasted on desktop just incase..but when game starts it downloads the last two versions of each car everytime..since it is paid content were do I unsub from it? When I go to subbed workshop items I don't see the paid content.I have to go to store then search rfactor2 scroll down on store page to even see the paid ed content..sorry I've had this game for awhile but havent really messed with it until recently. .

 

Where is content area in steam.I can't find where to unsub from the paid content.only buy it again..i still show 1.47 for bmw..another wasted night always something.

 

finally found it.. what a pain couldn't they just done it like assetto its right there on main screen on ac..

 

Now it's back to the screen freezing but I can still hear audio and wheel moving..I have no luck

 

Does this happen on a single player or on a server?

 

Is it me, or does this track eat tyres far more than the previous two rounds?

 

only tried the server I did about 8 laps then it just froze. IL try single player tonite after work

 

I sometimes had a few seconds of freezing, but when I changed my internet settings after that there were no problems. You can change them like this.

I have a i5 6400 does changing the physics,to use a,separate thread help with performance or should I leave it alone?should I be look in into a new cpu or should mine be fine.it meets specs for game but Im wondering if it's the problem ..I just got the 1660ti 6gb upgraded from a 1060 3gb so I don't think the gpu is the problem.

 

I think I fixed my problem. thanks for all the help guys. I set my internet config like in video posted but I had been running this game with steam vr . didn't know I could just use the oculus and oculus tray tool without it. I ran in single player 20 cars no studdering or freezing so I think its good now. the oculus asw and the steam vr must have been conflicting. hope it all stays this way can finally focus on racing. think il be going with the vette . again thanks for all the help. see you sunday!

 

Anyone able to get on the server? The practice pw isn't working for me, and it doesn't show a race password (yes i'm logged in).

i've been periodically checking and haven't seen anyone on the server since i encountered the problem this afternoon.

 

I'm about to get online in a few minutes to practice il let you know

yeah not working for me as well..must have changed password to race. hopefully they can post it soon

 

I'd make one for us to join if I can remember how to do the packages. It's been forever but IL have a look in a min. IL post here the server name if u get it running
