2. Le Mans Conditions
EVENT DETAILS
- Qual starts at 19:00 GMT
- Qual 15 minutes (Track default = qual at dusk)
- Race 92 minutes (90 min + 2 min formation lap).
- In-game start time is 16:00 PM
- Time acceleration x 15 ... (that is almost a 24 hours cycle on a basis of 92 minutes actual racing)
- Weather variable. See post #7.
- Damage 100%
- Tyres normal
- Fuel normal

- Qualification is set to "private". That means that you will be alone on track so you can put in your best time without traffic (qual rules still apply).
- YOU HAVE TO USE THE SAME CAR THROUGHOUT THE SERIES THAT YOU CHOOSE FOR YOUR FIRST EVENT, BUT YOU CAN CHANGE CAR CLASS.

HOW WE START THE RACE
- We do a partial formation lap until the "L'Arche Chicane".
- The pole sitter leads the Formation Lap at approximately 120 km/h.
- The Formation Lap is done in "single" file.

The race starts when the LMH and the GT3 pole-sitter cross the final apex the L'Arche Chicane.


3. The use of the Esc. key in Qualification
Use of the Esc key during Qualifying is the equivalent of stopping your car and getting out. This may be done only in your pit stall. There are very few exceptions to this rule. Here are the only two we will currently consider. These exceptions are subject to change at any time:
- You run out of fuel in the pit lane before reaching your pit stall.
If you use the Esc key in any location other than your pit stall, your Qualifying session is over and you may not return to the track.

4. You can find the password for the race server on the Le Mans event page.

5. Unregistering in time if you can't make it.

6. Please use the SAME NAME in the rFactor 2 game as on our SRO signup list or it won't match in our automated result processing.
You can change your name in the rFactor 2 "Profile" menu.

7. If you plan to PROTEST another driver, you have to wait 24 hours counting from the end of the race.
Any protest filed before that time will be viewed as not received. You can find the rules about submitting a protest here.

8. You can find the server by typing SRO or the track name. Add the server to your favorites so you can always find it.
If you can't find the server in the rFactor 2 server list, you can access this way:
1. click on this link: https://simracepackages.lima-city.de/rF2server/
2. scroll down to "SRO" (it's alphabetical)
3. choose the correct server and Join with the password (see point 4 above)
4. the server will start automatically and will take you to the event

Duration of the race has changed!

Because of the reduced number of signups for Le Mans, the duration of the race has been reduced from 2.4 hours to 92 minutes.
To preserve the idea of a 24 hour race, the time acceleration is now x 15. That is almost a 24 hour cycle in a 92 minutes race.

 

No, I got swamped at work having to switch schedules with the morning guy for the last 3 weeks! That means up at 4am to be at work by 5 then come home and fall asleep on the couch ..lol my regular shift (of 10 years) is a swing shift 2 pm till 11 pm so my brain is all sideways & now he's back so I have to switch back to the other time slot lol

Ok I installed it.
It shows up on my rF2 screen but the track map is only a circle, (I turned all other widgets off) I set up the always-on-in spectator .. or force active . (tried it both ways)
It does not show up in OBS (the broadcast) but it's permanently "on" in rF2 (because I told it to be so it won't need me to click a driver to make it active)
But the overly is not showing on the OBS screen so IDK ..
How do I get the right track map? & how can i get the overlay to show in OBS?

 

It runs but It's just not working how i need it to.. the track map shows but its a big circle, the dot's are active and going around with positions but the map is not Le Mans.. then it won't show up in OBS.. will have to try another time ....
