with regard to the tire stop, you have to make a pit stop strategy and save & and select it before the race.

I know. I meant to leave, so I didn't click "ready" assuming that I could just stay in the lobby, since I was the host.
Much to my surprise the car was on track taking on a life of its own. I had no control over it.

I had the same thing in the 1st race. I had my tyre field setting set to "recommended" and for the next races I set it to "all" and did not have this problem anymore. You have to check in pit strategy if it is on the correct setting because it sometimes goes back to the default strategy and not your set strategy. I think it does not start with your last used setting when you enter a server.

My setup worked perfectly until the race. I could easily do 1.06s laps with full fuel load and when the race started I had little grip on the fronts (or too much on the rear). So the car pushed too much and I could barely do low 1.08s, but could keep a consisten pace. Having Johns car crawling on track was a bit scary...

I did not notice much lag issues during the race. Only a few jumps during the race. I also watched the livestream after the race. I think all the bouncing is because of the lag because I had contact with the barriers twice in total during the race. I also saw that Oliver had better lap times so if it was not for the first lap incident it could have a much closer race... Hope the next race the turn up will be better. Mothers day and F1 race in Miami will have played a big part in this.

    CU next time

Funny. That was odd to see and I could not figure out who it was. Race was challenging. Stuck it into the wall a couple of times but thankfully damage is turned down. For the most part it was just me against the track and in this case I found that to be entertaining. As mentioned, AMS2 needs a better hosting solution. I was seeing short screen freezing but nothing too serious. My internet is probably below average but works good enough. I seem to have better luck with RF2.

Agree. Let's hope for more drivers at the next event

made it past 1 then 2 cars at the start then got fishtailed into the wall, (checked my replay) after that just made it a survive to the end race. this game has some strange lagg issues.
