    Race Report..

After the horrid time Steeg AutoSport had at the Nordschliefe.
with one of the drivers blowing up motors like it was intended.
we scuttled to see what hardware was available.
A Driver from the local SimRacing scene just got a new wheel and so sent me he's G27.

wheel arrived(base only) so engineers jumped into it and got the G25 Pedals on Arduino and wired the H-Shifter to fit the G27.
    Panic stations of note.

but i have the best team under me and wheel was ready Saturday night 2am , just before race day.

    SO:
race practice consisting of a handful of laps done when setting up the wheel.
pace was bad, getting 2:30's, but huge smiles.

    Quali time:
i grabbed 12 liter fuel and went to see what i could do.
    Getting 6th place.

    Race Time:
    got a great start,
was all over me Toni as he was settling into the race, someome spun and found myself dodging cars to stay alive.
after that was pretty nice driving the cars and getting them to over steer.

looks like a great race was had by those that turned out.
    Charade:
what a great track, alot of fun to drive.

Fun race for me..meaning no practice but handfull of laps for ratios and balance.
Started slow and ended fast. Still left time to be gained since wasnt consistent but faster here slower there and vice versa.
Big shout out to Sam Karl and Ken who I raced against.
Sam i made clean, Karl got little squeeze on final corner and Ken hang in there for along time.
Finally he slipped his rears abit so got by.
    Great driving!

Grats to Tim and the podium! Great pace!
I got more familiar with the RS60 the more miles I put on it and finally dipped below the 2m20s mark mid-race. Still a long, long way off the pace but having fun was the objective and that was met. One thing that I find a bit annoying about the mod is that every time that I touch a kerb or run off onto a grass verge, there's a rattling sound as if the car was ready to fall to pieces. It's rather off-putting. I watched onboard with others in practice and didn't hear this. I've attempted to adjust assorted sound variables in the AC audio menu but without success. Any suggestions as to killing off or reducing this sound?
I plan to be entered for Sebring on October 20th. Thanks for hosting! :)

    keep at it.
    pace comes with milage.
