The only way is for a GT3 driver to unregister so you become green.

NOT HELPFUL FOR THIS RACE, as GT3 so far is full.
But Round 5 you are green. I am above the alps when the race starts so I have had to un-register.

Actually I will have a word with one of my team, he mentioned he might not make it back from his marshalling post in time for tonight. Don't take this as a guaranty just yet though.

Same here. I would like to go on GT3 too but there´s no spot.
Admin could consider to open more GT3 registers? (dont know if it´s possible)

The only way to stop people blocking entries for a season will be to make each driver sign up for each race on the day.

I disagree with having to sign up on the day for races.

I believe those who support SRO should have priority over none subscribers
I also think if you are signed up for a race and 'no show', you are unregistered from all future races (so have to re-register at the bottom of the list)

We have been constantly trying to solve the red light "no show" issue, its not a simple fix as players sometimes are not able to get to there PC's to unregister & some simply just don't have the courtesy to unregister .. We have some Ideas in the mix & its talked about at every admin meeting ..
One idea' was to have the password hidden to all with a "confirm" button that goes up 24hrs before the race so once you hit 'confirm' the PW is revealed .. & If you don't confirm you get a red light .. Just ideas for now & it all needs to be possible within the code ect..

.. we are constantly trying to solve this .

I will remove 2 x no-shows after this race. That will free up a lot of space on the GT3 front.

If you read post 4, you will see that the formation lap procedure was explained in great detail. So it should not have been a great surprise in warm-up before the race.

    Congrats to winners.

Race was going great. Not one scratch on the car. Finish pit stop and leaving and bam! I crash into Barrett while he's in his pit stall. Destroyed both our races probably. Thinking of Assetto Corsa pits. Sorry Barrett. Don't know what else to say. What the hell am I, a rookie? It's one thing destroying my own race, it's another thing destroying someone else race. Shaking my head.

    Nope, not allowed!
At one point I had to drive one eyed as a massive blob of salt landed in the left eye, had to wait till the back straight to rub it away but then spent 4 laps with needles in the eyeball (I'm left eye dominant, right is just fuzzy).
To race is to sweat. All hale the sweaty racers

Right now I have to peel myself out of the rig to get a showero_O.

No worries , tuff break for both of us ! I was trying to hug the right to give max room & was puzzled how you still managed to clip me , then watching the replay I saw you lost grip on the curbs & were out of sorts .. That's racing ! & Thx for the apology:D

Great racing again guys ! Mosport is one of those tracks that has great rhythm & once you get it' its great fun ! The long hi speed sweepers just keep flowing & the tightest turn on the track is aided by the steep uphill downshift area & is a really fun turn ! rFactor 2(rFactor2.exe) Screenshot 2020.08.16 - 15.31.47.68.jpg The speed deference between the DPI's & the GT3's was startling ! Kept us on our toes for sure :D

I inherited a few spots only to give them all back with pit stop errors & DPi collisions ! (my first stop trying to be quick ,I lost the rear breaking into my pit stallo_O:mad::eek: as I slid in I hit the wall ! I had ZERO time to toggle the "do not fix damage" so I sat there while my crew happily fixed the scratch in the paint ..lol It added an extra 64 seconds to my 'what seemed like forever' stop ..:cool:o_O:D This would prove pivotal as when I came out Barrett had just lost it in T2 the down hill left hand sweeper & hit the wall ?, As i came around to finish that lap I took that position- 9th, only to give it right back after he came out from his stop , (I'm thinking "that 64 seconds would be nice to have back") ..however with Barrett's pace I'm sure he would have some how caught me as time ran out ..:p As it was I found myself in 10th (over all) after Barrett blew by me to take 9th .. I could see in the timings that Fausto (8th place) was some 40 seconds ahead of us . Barrett started pulling away from me .. as my gap to him grew, I noticed the gap to Fausto was coming down :) this was with about 30 min remaining .. I was on a 2 stopper & had just got fresh rubber fro the last 30 min & I saw that Barrett had indeed caught & passed Fausto to take 8th & that theirs a slight chance I might catch him as well ! So with fresh rubber it was back to full concentration, hitting my marks , trying not to crash , trying to save rubber .. after 20 min or so I could see him up ahead & the gap was like 8 seconds . I figured "he must be on a 1 stopper & his tires are toast !?" or "he's saving gas?" either way the gap was closing fast .. with about 5 min to go I caught up to him and was in pursuit looking to gain another position & I could see where he was struggling ,his tires must have been gone .. as we crossed the line with 1 to go I made a move on the outside of turn one & was able to make it stick ! rFactor 2(rFactor2.exe) Screenshot 2020.08.16 - 15.52.23.74.jpg rFactor 2(rFactor2.exe) Screenshot 2020.08.16 - 15.53.19.36.jpg
When it was all said & done rFactor 2(rFactor2.exe) Screenshot 2020.08.16 - 13.57.41.25.jpg Great racing & congrats to the podiums !
Cu all next round ! :D:D

For the race I tried to use a rear wing 1. It was the best choice because in the long straight I was a bit faster, but in the corners it was very difficult and the tires were wearing a lot.

I congratulate everyone on their behavior on the track and their professionalism

see you at the next and last race

Had little practice for this one. Like the track lots.

Q was still trying some radical setup changes but that didnt work ( tyrewear related stuff ).

R issue was mostly trying to go slow enough to make that left front last 45 minutes. Was doable 1 stopper.
1st stop at 46minutes left and worst tyre looked at 10% or so.
I took 2nd stop when 30minutes left just to give a chance of hotlapping a little for fastest lap and take the
    stress of from tyrewear.
Hotlapping went little bad, got stop and go for going too wide once but think rest got more tyreissues than me
or out of race allready, that this one was more of a keeping it together and finishing it.

Not a great round for me. I was really struggling for tyre wear and understeer, and I got two drive-throughs for track limits. I'll do more practice for next time to ensure this doesn't happen again! Well done to @Toni Talvitie for the dominant win. :)
