Not sure why the option to restart a race as a grid wasn't enabled if an admin can't be present.

guys, when I tried to pit, your cars were invisible until I was literally 1 meter away from them, sorry for punts.. something's wrong with the track? something's wrong with the mod?

No idea. Either way, should have been restarted or tested before it was added to the grid. It's a waste of time for several drivers and just ruins the championship.

Got teleported through the ground too when I went on track for the start,
I took the start from the pits but I had steering damages, ended up spinning out
Would have been fair to restart the race

Yeah, I saw that and thought, “Alright, I’ll just keep going as a warm-up before the restart.” And then… no restart. Very unfair for the front of the grid. I think a restart would have been the right call, but there wasn’t much I could do, so I just kept going.

Fabulous race. Thank you everyone. Late shift change at work let me race.
I was slow but determined to finish but wow, that rain was awful! Spinfest. I must have hit at least 10 trees in the last 30 mins but somehow my car marched on.
The course looked absolutely beautiful in the rain, the light was amazing, but oh so lethal.
That's probably the hardest car, course, weather combo I've ever done.
Apologies to P2 @Gert-Jan van Osch for the slight mix up just passed the s/f line. Very difficult to see in the spray.
Bad luck @Ben Summers on the final descent, I saw you rolling across the road and just pipped you for P8.
Bad luck @Maddie Shepherd and @Toni Talvitie. I saw cars sinking in the tarmac and bouncing on the start grid. It looked like some sort of synchronization issue.
Thank you @John vd Geest and Admin/Broadcast team.

    Just a note...

I can't do anything on broadcast about calling for a restart, no matter what is said in YouTube chat... I have a broadcast to run with many spinning plates in the air, nevermind doing any admin for the server (which I wouldn't be able to do or make a call on anyway).

So please in future respect that. I know it's unfortunate/disappointing about game/track bugs which ruin people's races.

We were chatting in the broadcast chat to talk to each others; we were disappointed, but it wasn't against you at all, Neil!!

My Maserati also got some damage on the grid from another car coming to the grid. Most of the damage by the end of the race was my own fault. Worn out tires, damaged car, and rain make for a challenging event.
Can the grid spacing be changed? Not sure if that would necessarily help this track. It’s well made, but not suitable for championships as is.

I witnessed the grid line up and from the 2nd row and it was really weird to see everybody on the frontrow shifthing making a translation from their pit position to grid position. Also I saw in the replay that Jim also suffered from a sinkhole on the grid. I think at least this should be reported back to the developer of this mod, for evaluation. I think when these things happen it should be possible to red flag the race as an exception, because it affects too many peoples race who invest their time in preparing for these events, even though the policy of simracingonline is not to restart a race. Having said that if it is a bug in the mod it could happen on a restart again... Nonetheless very unfortunate for everyone involved.

For my personal experience I was lucky not having any starting problems. Not finding a good gap to put in a good qually lap may have been my luck in the end. In the race my start was not really good haven't tried the starting procedure and got overtaken by a couple of cars. After two laps I was in 2nd behind Kostas on similar pace. I did not have much margin left between playing it safe and risk of making a big mistake so I decided to follow him and trying to keep him under pressure.

I think at around 20 minutes I hit the curb slightly on the downhill section towards the finish line and made a 360 spin. However it did not affected the handling of the car and I continued. I could make up several second and was 3s behind when the drizzle started. I had some trouble overtaking backmarkers losing precious time and dropped me down 10s with 15min to go. In the end I had very little traction anymore coming out of turns and had to do extremely short shifting not to step out. My tire wear was below 50% on the right side in the end of the race. I closed the gap to 5s behind Kostas 2L before the end of the race. In the final laps I think Kostas took no risks anymore to finish in P1. A well deserved win surviving the race with extremely good consistency and no obvious mistakes.

Seeing the top three in the championship not finish, it will not upset the overall standings too much. Even though I have closed in on point. The superiority of the Cooper car with respect to the rest of the field, I think in the remaining two races the Cooper drivers will still the be top contenders and my goal is to pick up the scraps they leave behind.

    CU on track...

My appologies for the problems at the start with Maddie, Toni and others due to teleporting and bouncing.

I had tested the track thoroughly before adding it to the championship, including test races. I always start from the back when testing so I can see everything, but had not encountered this issue before. When I saw it happening from the mid-field, I viewed it as the game synchronizing. I saw Toni Talvitie bouncing and teleporting back to the pitlane and then come back to the grid again, so didn't think much of it. In the hectic of the start, I thought Maddie had a DNF due to connection issues.
Had I known that there was a serious starting bug, I would have restarted the race for sure, as that is outside of the "no restart" policy. Maddie and the others deserve a clean start and should not have been taken out like this. I will report this issue to the developers with video footage, so they can fix it.

Again, my sincere appologies for implications to the championship standings. This should not have happened, but the whole field, except 2 drivers, got a clean start, so I can not cancel the final results. I hope you understand that. But again, it was not fair what happened to Maddie and Toni who DNF'd.

A possible solution could be a extra event as round nr. 7, so Maddie and Toni have a change to catch up. Would you all like that?

I had exactly the same problem as Maddie and Toni at the start, and I would be happy to have a seventh round!

Did you not see the chat asking for a restart? Seeing 2-3 drivers taken out at the start due to a track/server issue was clear grounds for a restart.

I don't mind if there is a round 7 added or not.

I only saw a chat message from Julien Paus asking for a restart. To my recollection, it did not specify why he wanted it. Besides that, chat messages during the race are not allowed and I only read them at a glance because it is distracting while racing, precisely why it is not allowed. Again, I'm sorry that the issue happened, but it was not clear to me what was going on. If someone did specify why you and Toni DNF'd, I was not aware of it while racing.

I will add a 7th round if the majority of 15 drivers type "yes, I want a 7th round" in the chat below within 7 days.

Adding a 7th race is fair for me. I'm not sure if I can participate.

I saw a few cars bouncing before getting on the grid, I didn't know why because up to this point everything seemed to be working fine. I got onto the grid in the last seconds and I didn't bounce, so that was a relief, but during the first lap I thought that the race would be restarted. I saw Toni going to the pavement and I wasn't sure whether he had retired, then continued driving thinking that it's not fair.
