i dont mind the RHD thing so much but yes the thick A-pillars are f-ugly! curse of a modern car i find i can hardly see a thing out of these modern race cars, with A-posts and hans seat wings! good job most race drivers have blinkered vision

Re tyres, mine werent too bad, got understeer as the race went on but thats why i set up my car quite pointy to counter it. Makes it a bit lively early laps but usually settles down....or goes from u/steer to o/steer like a death trap

 

Setup is the obvious one, but I think a lot of people underestimate the first few laps on low PSI tires. I always build up the race slowly and only start to push when tires are optimum, which is probably why most people drop off behind me after 15 minutes or so as my tires are healthy and others might have blisters or graining. Be extra careful around curbs when below 27PSI or so, as they are fragile to losing pressure.

Mate, I never said you did it on purpose. It's just annoying this happening again. It has been deemed as a racing incident but could have been avoided with a bit of careful driving, especially on the first lap. You weren't' a car length ahead, if you were we wouldn't of made contact. It has been clarified that I was established on the inside on the curb and you turned into me. I'm not making a big deal of it but you are blaming me and it wasn't my fault, you said i should have braked to avoid a collision but I had the line and didnt see you coming ( I was looking through the corner ) you cant expect people to jump out of the way to avoid you coming through. And I dont think you have apologised mate. Anyway lets put it down to first lap excitement and all try and be a bit more careful. I hope we both have a better next race and I look forward to having a clean battle next time.

 

Nothing more to say about the racing line etc etc. I leave the picture to speak for myself..
I never either blamed you, you were the one who blamed me saying that i taken you out again... You never took it as a racing incident - at least. Anyways...

 

It does look like you are ahead there but at the actual point of contact there is more than half of my car alongside you. Like I said I had no where to go, you had all the space on the outside and decided not to use it hoping I would do an emergency stop to avoid you. It has been stated by an admin that i was established on the inside and you turned in to me... you actually hit me twice. This picture is at the point of impact, I'm not going to argue anymore about this.

 

James, i will not argue anymore about the incident too, as the admins said it was a racing incident and nothing more.. I just got sad and frustrated because you said you was taken out by me again. It was my mistake at Donington and i took the full responsibility of the incident. The way you said that you were taken out by me, again, it looked like i did it in purpose, at least i took it that way. Maybe i am wrong, but this is the way i took it..
Anyways, lets move forward to the next race

Having posted pictures... we can all comment if you really want now you've made it public..I'm not sure i would agree....
