    ok i assume this is something on my end, but...
    shouldn't i see some indication that the LeMans aero pack is on the car once i get to the track? a difference in the final gear ratio, "LeMans" rather than "standard" for the front wing? i don't.
    when i select the LeMans aero package and hover over it in the customize tab, the game tells me "Standard is the forced option for this upgrade type".

    Interesting .... maybe because the server went all crazy the last few days it needs to be looked at again?

    Its also odd the Porsche tops out at 10 kph less than some of the other cars, and I'm sure I chose the LeMans aero package. Can other Porsche drivers confirm?

    Ciao Matt, when you select and customize the car select Le Mans aero package and force it
    All GTE with Lemans aero package arrive at about 285 km/h in Maastrict

    If you choose it rightly you have to see in the setup Gearing Ration Set "Le Mans" and in Aerodynamics Front wing "Le Mans"

    Thanks for the info I didn't realize you must click on force setup to apply the chosen aero package. Now I probably have to make a new setup.:rolleyes:

    Drivers briefing

    1. This event will be broadcasted

    2. The use of the Esc. key in Qualification
    Use of the Esc key during Qualifying is the equivalent of stopping your car and getting out. This may be done only in your pit stall. There are very few exceptions to this rule. Here are the only two we will currently consider. These exceptions are subject to change at any time:
    1. You run out of fuel in pit lane before reaching your pit stall.
    2. You sustain damage to your car as a result of another driver and cannot make it back to your pit stall. You must prove your qualifying session was wrecked by another driver and that you made an attempt to return to pit lane.

    If you use the Esc key in any location other than your pit stall, your Qualifying session is over and you may not return to the track.

    3. Maastricht race conditions
    1) The race will start at 02:00 PM (in-game time of course)
    2) Time acceleration is normal. Fuel and Tires are set to normal.
    3) The race will 100% dry.
    4) Cut Track points are set to 7
    5) This race has 100% damage
    6) Pole Points: 1 / Fast Lap Points: 1

    4. Formation lap and rolling start.
    Right after leaving the last corner, we double file in qual order. When the pole-sitter crosses the start line, the race begins.

    5. The pole-sitter will do the formation lap approx. 120 km per hour.

    6. The server password will be changed on race day. You can find the password for the race server on the Maastricht event page.

    7. If you have to do a drive-through penalty, you have to do it     at the end of the first racing lap.
    That means the first racing lap AFTER the formation lap.

    8. Unregistering in time if you can't make it.

    9. No-shows (keeping the entry list real)
    If a driver does not show without unregistering for that event or letting us know that he can't make it on the event forum, he will be removed from the series.
    If he is no longer interested in the series, it's fine like it is.
    If he forgot about the event, he can sign up for the series again.

    (You don't have to unregister for the whole series. You can unregister only for the event you can't do.)

    10. You can find the server by first typing sro

    11. Please use the same name in the rFactor 2 game as on our signup list or it won't match in our automated result processing.

    Dont worry, myself got 1 timed lap of practice on this new track and on clean install deleted all my setups from all cars and all tracks this week :D

    Does anyone else have a problem where your engine just dies? Pretty well once or twice every lap, I'm going along as normal, then the revs will dwindle away, the car slows to a crawl and there's nothing I can do for 10 - 20 seconds till it rights itself again.
    I've had this happen before, but it hasn't happened for about a year. Really frustrating - don't know if it's a hardware or software problem but since no-one else has mentioned it, I'm assuming it's nothing to do with the Maastricht track.
    Anyone got a magic cure?

    No practice, 2 discos, 1st in Q and second at the end of Q. No lap for me, would been ok i think.
    Now running up the grid is tricky and compared to Q my rear was very slippery..dont know did i do something or lost set anyhow after 30minutes or so wheel was tilted allready and walls were too close :D

    Bravo Lorenzo, you didn't make me feel comfortable.
    This evening I had some issue with the server, I don't know if it happened to you too, every time a driver exit from server my monitor freeze for about 2 seconds, it happened 4 times. I was very lucky not to hit the wall

    Good racing guys. Congrats Matteo. I was behind him until my computer froze for about 3 seconds, came back, I was on the wall. Car was done. I hadn't even finished the first lap of the race lol. Second computer lock up is when Toni left. Dog dammit! Third worst part was when someone was making a U turn on the track. Bam! Took me out. U turn?? I can't believe my car still ran. But at the same time, I can't blame him. Where can he go? Backwards on the track? The track was fun but dangerous. Not even yellow flags. After this, finishing 6th isn't to shabby.

    On to the next.

    Yes Johnny, after the first freeze I have not seen you anymore, I thougt something had happened to you, I was lucky not to have any consequences

    Ya, the pauses were strange. That's the first time I have seen them in a long time. I only had the one when Toni left but I did see Matteos car vanish after I let him by under blue flag but then he must have come in as he was then back behind me and I had to let him by again :eek::p.. Our rented RackService server did get an error and completely shut down a few days ago that we discovered in time to have them fix it before the weekend so maybe we need to check some settings as we have not had any pauses/freezes with this current build at all with rF2...

    Grats to the podium & sorry to Michael LaBelle on the early race contact ..I out-broke myself after the 2nd hi-speed straight..:rolleyes: I did give the position back before I entered the pits for repair and also did a drive threw 1 lap later just to make amends :oops:o_O

    Then was battling to get in the top 10 with Gilles and managed to find 8th for a short while before I again put it in the wall losing all my spots again :rolleyes::mad::p then in 9th with 4 min left I nicked the wall again causing the steering to go all wonky I had a huge gap so I set for repair only =no tires & no gas but in my fumbling, I gave me tires and a full tank o_O 101 seconds where I could have come back out in 9th if only damage had been selected LOL:oops::D I did manage to finish in the last points spot, 10th :rolleyes:

    Congrats guys for the fair race! Good job Matteo, I tried to catch you but you were a little bit faster. I had the same problem, the screen froze about three times, luckily happened when I was driving through the straight. I enjoyed the track, difficult and funny
