rFactor 2 Round 4 Maastricht City Streets - Sun Oct 16, 2022

I just remembered there was a some kind of small update for rf2 when I fired up steam, about 20 minutes before the race. I had no freezing just a minor lag when Toni disconnected. Maybe this caused some kind of problem.

 

Had a lag/freeze for about 2 seconds early in the race then was fine. Good racing with Matt, I could see you getting more and more frustrated with me. Nearly got collected by someone locking up as I was lapping them, but the strategy worked out well for me and I'm very happy with a podium. It's a long time since I had one of those. Sorry for collecting Rob on the last lap too, I was totally caught out by you.

I'm not going to be able to make the next race so will see you at Monza.

 

Three drive through awards, in a row and 1 pending I decided to retire.

Just a bit of info for the commentators , HSR livery is a satin grey craze pattern fading into Carbon with a green metallic flake. Green stripe and black hex pattern is high gloss with a blue tint lacquer:





All our cars are the same except for the wing mirrors and tail end plates which are coloured to the drivers choice. Look great on any car its draped over:

 

Not really, Ok maybe a little but mostly I was enjoying the challenge of the chase. Its almost impossible to make a pass anywhere except T1. I never even realized Toni was getting so close until after I finally made the pass. I clipped the wall somewhere and gave myself a long pitstop for damage repair, else that battle probably would have gone on the whole race.

 

Had a big freeze and crashed into the wall. Race was over after just 1 lap!

 

It was an amazing event guys! It was great to see all drivers go to a new level for such a tricky circuit!
