Also thank you admins for all the fun (well not for me but the rest off the grid )

Spa is my "Spoky Ghost track) no matter Sim or car class its always "fword up"!
2nd or 3rd time in ACC with the Aston same story about 30 min it starts to get unreliable .
So I got a brilliant ideá to change my pit strategy and go in early, try to mess with that and still drive was not clever.
In doing so I most have done wrong, didn´t get refill amount rigth. And after a lap or so I found out
what to do quit direct?? I hate that so had to go in once more knowing that it would be it, ok will try to
fight not to be last and then I was to quick to 2 gear STG 30 SEC
so there it was over and done could have quit but as said its not me. So had to suffer to the bitter end.

 

Well this was my longest ACC race so the heart rate was pumping!, i couldn't get much more out of my Bentley for qualifying P13 out of 23 was good enough for me. Everyone was well behaved from what i saw at the race start with lots of room been given all round. I then began to settle in and found myself catching Björn Johansson, after a number of laps he made a mistake in the bus stop which allowed me to pounce. Fair play to him for conceding the place after we were side by side going into T1. We were close after that even after he came out of the pits. Then towards the end of the race i saw he had dropped off quite alot, what happened Björn?.

I also had some trouble with a back marker cant remember the name it was a Ferrari. I also had to revert to flashing the lights which resulted in him braking very early and me having to swerve to avoid him. I wasn't sure weather or not to take tyres in the pit stop, i didn't in the end did anyone else?. Overall a good finish (P10) will have to practice a lot for Barcelona as i don't know the track at all. See you all on the track!

Q: It was quite tight but thanks I jumped myself to the front to avoid middle group chaos : ) I tried one set for whole q session. Well, worked and got 3.p.
R: I settled my car low drag that I would need top speed on two straights to defend/attack the position. The car really was reacting good aorund Eau-Rouge that was giving me really strong settling position; only weakness at La Source but car's strong turn exit was helping me.
I chassed front runner Mc Larens. I saw Mc Larens have so much downforce that was giving me many times opportunities to pass them but stayed easy for a long race. After Alex's mistake I got p2 and chassed Daniel for a long time. However something happened him and found he was out of track. Then got p1. But as soon as I left pit, I found Rogerio captured first position with a short and very succesful pitstop. I thought he didnot changed the tyres and this gave me a good advantage with fresh tires as 30 min. left to finish. Well, I passed him after Kemmel straight and went to the finish avoiding cut-track penalty that I collected two in first 15 min.
Anyway, the race was quite busy and enjoy for me. The tires, Big Bentley and me worked well. : )

I guess same here - when trying to pass this guy - he does not move at all and even tries to lap himself back.... I stayed behind for the last lap - I was scared when it got close once in one corner on the last lap - and my gap to the back was luckily big enough...

 

Guys please report him, I don't know who you are talking about but let the admins know.

 

M Veight was his name. Simon mentioned that he’d got taken out by him near race end and all he could say was ‘yeah me bad’ with no apology to anyone he hit

As for the widget start ,you the members wanted this so that's what we have & if your out of position it will penalize you, we really can't do anything with this as far as admin goes except go back to the manual no widget starts ? Or we could change it to a full form lap with widget ,this might give more time to sort the proper positions ?
As for Blue flag incident's, Sounds like we need to have a chat with this driver .
We also have received a protest on one of the front runners for a punt late in the race around the 81 min mark .. ..
This will take some time so please stand by .

 

I watched the whole race thanks to Rogerio's online broadcasting and i really enjoyed every minute of it. 1:30 hours of almost clear and free-mistake race, i saw Selvi's overtake at Kemmel straight with massive top speed Well done to Taner Selvi for the win, to podium finishers and of course to all guys and admins who raced and setting up the race. I am tempting to participate to the series but for now is quite difficult for me because of my "weak" pc. I need an upgrade for sure, my pc specs not allowing me to race against with more of 20 guys, i solved my internet lag problem (i put a net limiter at my gilfriend's laptop) and until then i'll be watching you lol.. I think all it needs is the admin to re-state (the obvious) rule that you stay in qualified position (including not moving over left to right to suit an upcoming corner) ‘until’ the green light. To me this jostling ahead is just cheating the system because the widget lets you, but it’s still breaking racing rules.

its not well designed.
causes alot of uncertainty
would be fine if we were all in single file.
but i for one cannot drive thru someone because the widget says i must

 

Protest lodged. Not that it does any good now. Annoying as I was in 5th at the time and ended up 6th with no opportunity to have a good fight for 5th (which would have been fun).

 

This race is under Admin Review.
Admin Review is now on day 2 .. The drivers in question will be notified & penalized as soon as the review is concluded!

 

Admin review complete & The following driver Mark Leight has been issued a drive threw penalty at his next SRO event, he has 3 laps to complete the drive threw, He must also review the rules regarding Blue Flags & is on a 30-day overview/probation to assure he understands ... It was contacting after the pass that was the nail in the coffin. in this example, the lead lap car was trying to get by the entire lap ML was blocking & defending from a blue flag. This is only allowed in NASCAR oval racing Not in GT racing. once he finally got by he was slammed at the chicane.

He also divebombed a lead lap car at the top of Kemmel Straight. Quote from one of the protests: lapped car then made a completely unexpected and unnecessary dive-bomb up the inside at the end of the straight.
This is very Similar to what you see in the vid above .

Carlos Delgado has received a warning for unnecessary & avoidable contact while lapping a backmarker. while this incident did not affect positions, it was deemed unnecessary And avoidable, a formal warning with probation has been issued. The next infraction will result in a penilty.

As sim racing grows in popularity we get new members every day, all we ask is you READ THE RULES! We even have a check box in the sign-ups that asks if you read the rules. They are not hidden!

That said we will not put up with any un sportsmanship like driving and or complete ignorance of the rules!

Yes, that's the one i remember, but isn't it strange how quick i get on his rear? I felt like he might lifted mid turn, and i did try to divert to the right the best i could as you can see from the cockpit, but again i had ZERO feedback from the contact, what a hell?? It's the second time! I dont ear or feel a thing, from my position there was room and i passed.. looked on the mirror/camera, he was there, so i assumed all good. Now i want that replay even more, PLEASE
