Yeah I mean it's just one of those things sometimes. For example, I have some tracks for AMS by Patrick Giranthon. They are incredible pieces of work. I highly recommend them if you own AMS.

However with some corners on tracks that undulate (in other words when you can see far into the distance, lots of buildings, etc) my PC struggles ever so slightly, the odd frame drop, etc. Nothing dramatic but it is noticeable and can have an effect on lap times. When I did races with 25-30 cars it is noticeable though.

The only issue I've had badly on RF2 is in the wet, again it can be track dependent but at Sao Paulo in the URD DTM's I was suffering very badly. My PC was dropping to about 15-18FPS. That was in very heavy rain though. I'd only practiced in light rain and I was getting 90FPS+ so that was ok. I think the reflections, rain effects, etc. just put a huge strain on my setup. So I have to adjust accordingly down to medium settings, if I know heavy rain will be making an appearance.

Not complaining or moaning, just giving some feedback on my experiences :)

With regards to what Toni was saying, not sure if I recognise your name from Race Department or not (and you will have seen this) but my goodness the whinging about tracks during their Le Mans style series was incredible. People didn't like kerbs, didn't like the versions of tracks picked, didn't like the sausage kerbs, didn't like the framerates, didn't like the times of the sessions. The admin team on that series did an incredible job coping with it all and everyone's comments/complaints. Some people were incredibly rude as well. I'd just tell them to shut up!....or similar words. lol

I know this event clashes with F1 Mexico, but record the F1 race for later if you can, so we can get as manny drivers on the grid as possible.
Besides, you would have something to look forward to after the Bahrain race

Cool, yeah they are still a great bunch of people. The only downsides are mainly with leagues. I have won club races but every time they start a new league these aliens come out of nowhere and make the rest of us look ridiculously slow. It's really not good for the confidence, haha.

The last RF2 Indycar league they did a German racer turned up, won every race, lapped everybody and then disappeared. When I did a Google search of his name I found him winning every Indycar league all over the world. Turned out that this was the only car he raced and he was a specialist in it! lol It's all fine but when you spend days practicing and only end up at the back of the grid it does hurt your pride a little. haha.

At least on SRO the levels are bit more varied. You still have super quick racers but it makes life easier for casual racers like myself :)

Yes, put the F1 race on after our race, and it will help put you to sleep quickly ...

    *haven't seen a reason to watch a F1 race in about 2 years* :D

True, if I want to fall asleep quick, I'll watch a re-run of an F1 race LOL. But being a Max Verstappen fan (I'm dutch) I still record it. :)

Would any of the p2 runners be willing to share with me what downforce package they are running? You can pm me if you like.

Did some laps tonight. Never been my favorite track anyway but I’m lapping in the 50’s and 51’s. Solid but not spectacular. Lol

Got a few other things to try tomorrow as well so I know there’s more time to come but I struggle in the first sector so maybe only a second or so

    Notes for tonights event:

    1. If you leave during qual, you can not come back into the qual session and have to wait untill warmup.
    2. No esc. on track during qual. If you do, your qual session is over.
    3. The qual session will be at night. The track parameters doesn't let us change the time on the server. Race will be in normal daylight.
    4. Please read the "General info" thread / post 1 to be reminded of the series rules:

After the first lap started to get some stutter that made me spin happened again coming out of the final corner to go down the start finish straight decided to call it a day something I need to get sorted out quick.

With a small stutter it costs a lot of time.

Quite unfortunate that it cost you your race. In 2 weeks of practicing I had only a few minor stutters, nothing to get excited about. This entire race it ran like dog shit for me. Practice was smooth, but quali and race I was riddled with lag and stutters like never before.

It was bad, really bad LOL
Q: A disaster, I was 1.5 off my best times, and that made my race a huge defeat before the start. I'm struggling lately with Q, don't know why

R: Atrocious, after a crappy Q, nothing unexpected. Lance and I had contact, we both flipped in a super fake manner, my car was destroyed. Thinking about a decent
result, I drove a couple of laps with a broken suspension and when I pitted, I skipped the repairs after 1.5 mins... what for? The car was still 100% damaged, and when i pitted again, had to wait a full 2 mins. Tried to do some fast laps, did only a 56.9, and quit, didn't even put anything close to the best class lap, but it was still 1s faster than my quali. Nothing more left to do, I quit.
Everything that happened was a shame, I would be able to pu some some fast times at the race, from mid 56 to mid 57, I was just expecting to do it in the 2nd stint, after a stop for just 40 liters of fuel...

Anyway, congratulations to all entrants, except me, because I'm pretty sure the incident was my fault, it was silly, but it's on me.
Apologies to everyone I may have hindered on track, especially Lance.

A good fun race from me.

Last in class I know but I was getting better all the time, which was the important thing.

Great racing with @Joseph Wright he must of been running less wing than me. Everytime I caught him he simply romped away down the straights, lol. Great racing though, congrats buddy.

Last few laps were crazy, we both nearly got caught up in a GTE fight but managed to get through. Great work by the GTE cars, brilliant stuff.

Well done to everyone who survived to the end :)
