No prob Simon! some days you're the hammer, some days you're the nail lol, I saw your snap-over-stere into the wall coming off the last turn & just guessed wrong on where you would end up. I don't see anything other than bad luck for you and a racing incident. ;)

    Disaster.
No race pace, two wall contacts two massive repair pit stops = withdrawal

Congrats for the win Paulo!! And everyone else that made it till the end, of course
I actually like this track, and i did put some practice time on it, setting the car and all. It paid up with P2 for the start, and maybe i could grab pole if it wasn't the first VR blackout
Great start, Santos might have jumped pos a bit, but that's ok, it's 90min race anyhow, and things went smooth untill around 34mins... I've got the bloody 2nd blackout from my oculus CV2, and it took about 10 secs to reset, i was about to quit the race when it poped on again, facing a wall somewhere. So i went from P2 to P7 just like that.. bahhh :(
That took the whole fun from me, not loosing positions but the uncertainty... it's like russian roulette now, never know when i'll get the next one, damn thing.
Rolled alone most of 1st stint, and even more alone the 2nd stint, i was so bored i've turned the wippers just to have some 'action'. LONG boring race to me... BUT, mid the last lap i still got one last blackout for 5 secs or so... soooo nice.. Yesterday i've practiced for 1 hour single and multiplayer sessions, not a single blackout hapened. I really don't get his and its driving me mad. For some reason my DK2 will randomly shut down/reset for few seconds. I don't think it's the sensor, and all USB ports are set to never stand by.. I don't know, maybe it's just a bug or oculus drivers telling me to buy something new. It's nothing to do with ACC thou.. this crap hapends with many other games/apps.
Anyhow... since there are less people showing up each race, don't suppose we can have a 60min race next time, can we? o_O

@carlos there was an oculus driver update this week so maybe yours tried to do the update last night? I know it buggered up me and one other driver in a race on weds night.

@Paulo congrats on the maiden win, couldn’t close on you all race, well done

What a great race I had last night :) Had a fantastic early battle with Mazaks Ferrari and Mark Ekins Aston, eventually getting past each of them after some brilliant close clean battles
At the pits I think I was upto 3rd with a 2 sec lead over Mark, so I was miffed when I exited the pits to see him flying past! After my outlap I was 5 secs behind :( So I then set off like a man possessed to reclaim my hard earned podium position. It took a good 15-20mins of hard charging to close him down and then another 10 of close pressure before he finally cracked in sector 3 in those clumsy corners and now I was 2nd o_O
The battle wasn’t over, the other Aston continued to hound me and I got two late cut warnings that made me very nervous as I was now on 3 with very worn tyres  but figured Mark was on similar after seeing him run wide a couple of times.
The fight went nearly all the way to the line and I finished a hot sweaty satisfied 2nd  Great battle! :) I don’t think I had a single chance to relax the entire 90 mins last night, hard work!

hmm. ok i forgot about posting..It was a frustrating race. Having practised the weekend before i was reasonably happy with a consistent pace and the tyres were holding out, setting my fastest lap on the 25th lap!. So i can only put it down to the increased variable weather as to how bad the car was! Was it hotter than normal in the race? Im qually it felt a bit different but still got the laptimes i was aiming for, but come the race the low speed grip in sector 3 was nowhere. I think there was only one lap i felt like i did it right and didnt lose a second in the sector.

But then at no point was i alone on track so maybe it was just me pushing too hard. It was a good race though. I could see Mark was getting away a bit in the first stint and i was being held up a bit it felt at times so pitted a lap early, stop went ok, so I was surprised as well to find i came out a couple of seconds ahead of Mark. But despite being quick in the first two sectors was losing so much in the final one i was waiting for Mark to come back past, but when he did managed to stay with him to some degree which took alot of effort!
