Only able a 155 156 with a full tank ..im sure thats still off .think the downhill is my worst part.having to brake alot ealier than i think i should

The video starts at the warm-up so I can't see the GT3 pole time.

Fastest for the P2's was a 1m 51.176s, however like I said previously his setup was so low in downforce (and therefore the car just looked unstable) he started on pole but ended up 3rd. Mostly lapping in the 52's and 53's in the race.

Looks like the fastest time in warm-up by a GT3 was a 2m 02.664s The cars above him are 1m 56s and faster so I'm assuming those are all the P2's

The guy who won wasn't fastest but just stayed out of trouble.

29 starters, 15 finishers so a pretty high attrition rate, all due to contact.

My goal is just to finish and get points, this will be a tough one for sure.

 

2.07.6 70liters and softs.
Easy drive, "softish" and stable, more downforce.
Dont force car to do anything, let it take you ( be smooth, or weight transfer gets you. Its some tenths per wobble ).

Its actually my Jerez setup to where had time to really put in more praccylaps and worked Bathurst aswell.
You need to choose tyres and adjust brakes to your liking and calc fuel.

Just a few laps and can do that P2 pace but 2.02.6 on gt3? jeezus....just feels impossible.

 

Well I did some practice last night. I’m in the 53’s in the Oreca but still work to do. Gonna do a back to back with the different aero packages next.

Ran with a field of 30 AI cars, mix of P2 and GT3 so not many clear laps but it helps me get used to traffic. So maybe a second or so improvement is possible.

Very impressed with the 50s lap on the server. Nice time for sure. Impressive.

Glad we are on 50% damage though, don’t think many of us would finish otherwise. Lol

 

Maybe that time is the first lap at warm up and his pitbox was close to the first corner? So he won time because the finish line is so far away.

 

I also don’t know which version of the track they used. One could be more grippy than the other, less bumpy, etc. only guessing though.

 

I thought we were running with antilock brakes & TC available. I was thinking I ran a low setting at the last race, now when I joined the server, they are OUT!
Doesn't say anything about this in the forum and it makes a big difference on setup. Please advise if this is going to change or what/where does this get addressed.

 

Mapping? Doesn't have anything to do with my question.

 

The server has them unavailable, it is not a mapping issue. They are 'OUT'! I thought the last race we had them allowed, but I could have been mistaken. If they are allowed, the server is not setup that way.

Doesn't matter if ABS is turned off on the server, you can turn abs (and TC) on in your own car via the mapped buttons

 

No You Can't! Officially are they suppose to be OUT or NOT? It is not a mapping question!

 

I don't have this pack, but assume is is the same as the endurance pack as by what Jerry posted above (but only assuming)

In the above screenshot, you are trying to activate 'driver aids'.

 

I guess I am really confused, .....
In the screeny I am activating TC, ABS, & SC. Usually SC is OUT, the others are OK (that is what I though, I could be wrong)
Then in the above post you say to map the following 4 keys, .......and then don't list any?
Then link to the Endo Pack. THAT IS NOT HELPFUL.
So, ... is TC & ABS OUT, but there is something else, but the same, but have to be the unkown keys? .... really? ... this is just bazar to me, really!

 

They are not 'unknown keys'. Click the link and do some reading.
