As a GT3 driver I try and keep to the racing line but also check my mirrors to see if a hyper might be making a late breaking dive for a slow corner. Its easier to take a wide line in those cases but its not ideal as we have to commit to turn in at some point and loses a lot of time. However, I found it harder to make avoiding line changes on fast corners like at Fuji turn 4 due to the lack of grip so passing can be more unpredictable there depending on tyre wear etc..
