rFactor 2 Round 6 Autodromo Nazionale Monza - Sun Nov 13, 2022

my first race since rf2 was upgraded and since I back to my old love but was disappointed in rf2 for years.
comparable to AC or ACC, this is what I was missing, this feeling!
after contact in the 3 and 4 laps, continued race from the back.
it was a lot of fun and I enjoyed it!
I'm glad to be race again with old, well-known race friends who I've known from tracks for many years.

yes, I honestly think it was my turn. turn before I gave you room because I saw that you were next to me. on that turn I saw that I was a full length ahead and I expected you to liftoff throttle. diving on that turn always results in this kind of result.
np man, I forgive you.
I'm only sorry because you ruined the race for yourself. it's boring when you're in the lead and have no one to fight with.

 

well, without proper setup, it was hard to be competitive. Even so it was good to follow some guys.
Didnt no about tires so went for softs wich took me earlier to pitstop. Went to mediums and got out fighting for position but then the fuel.... it was not enough.
Another pitstop to refule and another mistake: change only front tires...to soft (with medium at the rear). The car was undriven and after half lap i hit ESC cause it was too dangerous for others.
Even so, great race. Thank you all for this lovely moments

 

Ciao Sanio, as written before I had by mistake safety-car mixture in the first laps, but I didn't knows . I was confident to stay side by side to you, but my poor acceleration misled me and I reached the extrem limit to claim the necessary space, imho. I hope to battle with you next race, you had a great pace

 

After watching the F1 race at Sao Paulo today, these guys make me feel like I'm a saint racing with you guys..

 

I thought this series was one where the standard aero pack had to be used, unless stated like at Masstricht?

 

how can these lags be solved when driver leaves the server? it is 1.5sec frozen when it happens

 

It should be a bug using lemans aero package, we had same issue in Maastricht where everybody used this package, no problem at all in the other circuits where nobody used it. In Virginia and Cota I think nobody will use it, so we won’t have it again

Welcome to RF2, best driving experience, worst user-friendly sim, but in the last year it’s improved a lot, hope it continue on this road.
If we knew it before, the use of this package had to be banned, except for lemans circuit

 

this is why I left rf2 because of things like this. with those bugs, it reminds me of the old rf1. but that is less important, the important thing is that they are not able to solve these key things for a long time.
and here they have known about this problem for more than a year.
the simulation is great when we don't have any distractions, but I just don't know how long it will take them in s397 to get this sim up and running.

 

@Sanio Alfa - I've just watched Eitha's broadcast of the Monza race and have to offer my sincere apologies to you. With about 30 minutes to go, I failed (big time) to get out of your way when being lapped and caused a 'coming-together' at turn one.
What can I say? Total 'brain-fail' on my part - absolutely no excuse. Sorry.
Sorry, also, if i caused a 'moment' to anyone with my constant lock-ups - I got a new set of pedals and the brake has a load-cell - I've never had a load-cell before and hadn't got it 'tuned-in' - I locked-up every single time I even thought about braking. Hopefully I'll have tamed it a bit by VIR.

Couldn't make Sundays race sadly, I was laid up in bed after my Booster jab! Was like being back in hospital all those months ago was awful. Practiced hard as well
