Tough race for me, I just couldn't get the car to turn which made it hard work. If any GT3 driver would kindly share a setup from their Bahrain race Id love to compare. Anyway, I just couldnt keep up with those in front and ended up having to do an extra late splash and dash for fuel in the last laps. I did have one spin with a hyper towards the end at turn 12 but I just didnt see it soon enough and didnt have enough grip at turn 12 to manouvre out the way. Still, Im enjoying sim racing at the moment so just happy to be on track with you guys :) Looking forward to next years Dallara already.

Thanks to Admin for organising and grats to the champs!

That's not fair mate, it's the same deal driving the hypers, they're not easy.. if they crash they also lose, it's not that we don't care. I've had collisions with hyper cars also, so it's not really hypers vs GT3 as you say.. in these kind of series the fast car driver and slow car driver must cooperate and of course everyone should respect everyone regardless.

That must have been me.. sorry but you went from the right to the left and covered the whole track, I had only a moment to decide

front runners seemed to be using mediums or hards so I thought I'd do something a little different and go on softs, on first stop also went onto a new set of softs but was worried I'd have to take another set at the second stop and loose the 13 or so second lead, decided to gamble and hope the softs would last as there does not seem to be a massive advantage for new tyres, was down to 30% on the rears and was praying there was no cliff edge as never run them that low, fortunately they held so I could consolidate my lead.

gotta hand it to my team mate robin, becoming a qualifying master beating me with my own setup, it was a good battle for the championship and made me work hard for it, another one for Black Cat Motorsports!

Thanks john for the series and Rob for the broadcast, looking forward to the Indycars.

Does that change the fact I am now glad the series is over? Does suck to that those that caused incidents seem so unaware that apologies are never said.... I mean manners and all but oh well.

That was my favorite race of the series. I was doing everything right to stay on Barrett's bumper. Then the Hypers started coming through and it seemed that each time they came by I fell back another 2-3 seconds until I was pretty much driving alone. And it wasn't their fault. I did alter my lines and braking points to accommodate the faster class just because I didn't want any damage. Had some good laps with Neil towards the end. Thanks to everyone for participating. Multi-class always comes with debates about driver behavior. Seems unavoidable but nobody got hurt so I say the series was a success. Looking forward now to Indycar in Jan! Hope everyone has a great holiday season.

Well, that's not about this particular series, it happens all the time. I've watched real WEC and these guys are much worse than us!

It's all for fun at the end of the day, I mean last race I lost 2nd place because a lapped hyper blocked me and caused a crash.. but I had fun anyway, so it's all good

Congrats both Nick and Roman for their win and the series championship

Thanks you @John vd Geest for hosting and @Rob Milliken for the broadcasts.

Awesome series with some good intense battles along the way, shame we lost some of the GT competitors though.

Looking forward to the indy series.

Also thanks to Nick for the killer setups, I wouldn't of been anywhere near the pace without it.

I have come to suspect that Nick is an Engineer of some kind or really good with Motec .... or just a very skilled setup developer who can translate what the car needs to the setup menu. Anyway ... I tip my hat to you, sir :)

nah, just lots of experience setting up cars since RF1 days and knowing what to change for a specific handling problem, never used motec actually, don't like drowning in data, just rely on feel and laptime as the barometer.
