    I watched the beginning of the race on Jake's channel. Can some one please explain, I noticed the number of registered entries for the race on the forum here as only 10, yet Jake's in race AC display showed 39 racers. Is there some multi-universe leakage going on?:eek:

    That is not our race but an event hosted by GPLAPS. I thought it was a funny coincidence that it was run on the same day.

    weird but I'm sure he has mentioned SROL a number of times when doing some of his stuff. his race was also 12 laps and not 10 which I also noted.
    edit: but if you go to 3:15 he mentions specifically SROL Sim Racing Online League. sorry, I know questons more suited to Jake.

    Thank you all for joining this Long Track Series.
    It was an experiment to see if there would be drivers interested in a Long Track Championship. We were mostly around 8 drivers strong, but when you're fighting a driver in front or behind, you primarily focus on that person and you forget about everybody else. Then numbers don't matter.

    Big congrats to @Gaetan NOYGUES for winning the championship. He was very strong every round. Shame he wasn't driving the last round. That would have been a great fight.

    Consider joining the bonus round as a special event, The Evo Triangle.
    This track is a re-creation of the famous public roads in North Wales and it's very well done.
    In terms of driving it has quickly become one of my favourite tracks. It's very exciting to drive, very fast and a bit technical, so just how you like it.

    The server is up.

    Thanks to you John for hosting this nice championship even if it was not easy due to the complexity of tracks. Sorry for not attending the last race as I was for me the best track of the series but I simply was not feeling it, and I was tired from working all week. Congrats to everyone who attended the championship !

    Talviti said everything.
    This long tracks are amazing and this one is lovely. Feels great driving it in "travel" mode, and i could do it very well despite not knowing from memory the track.
    But when you enter the "race mode" is other thing. It is impossible to race if you dont know the full track, sooner or later, you will do a mistake, or several as i did.
    Beeing alone racing then, it is boring so i left early.
