No problem getting on the practice server but booted from the race server 4 times. What a waste of my time.

Q i wasnt sure if can go again or not, i felt like crash because of another driver but wasnt hit myself so took it safe and just didnt Q
R Was doing okish, but too much wheelspin on chicane and met a wall finally.

Really like the mod, too bad had only 2 sundays free for the series.

Also Hagemanns are like Middletons...father son ( if i remember right from one server session ), only grandson missing :D

Started from the back of the pack or there abouts, couple beers in (alright… more than a couple ). Somehow clawed my way up to P3, right on the leaders’ tail. Feeling like Keke Rosberg himself — wild, fast, maybe a little sideways.

Then… channelled Keke a bit too hard. Sent it, spun it, kissed the wall. Race over.

Not the win, but definitely the highlight reel. If you saw it on stream — yeah, that was me.

My new report right there :D

First, thanks for hosting John. Also thanks for the broadcast (enjoyed watching it), the disco stewards and all competitors, was fun driving it.

I cannot say, that I love this car, because it is tricky and because of the nature of this series (high damage, long race distance, tracks with not much run off), you were not allowed to make many mistakes or get caught in an incident.

It seemed that this suited me, even though my quali performance was not that good and I needed always quite some time to get into the rythm. Same for this race, although it was maybe my best. It was definitely not my plan to run that soft tyre for 40 laps. At some point I thought this forecasted "rain" is a big scam :D If I knew that before, I would have pitted ealier for new tyres. So it was a big relief when it finally was wet enough for wets. Probably a lap earlier would have been perfect, but yeah, again hindsight.

So it was Lars again, congrats. Also good job from Kostas or Toni/Matej..., lot of fast guys in the field. I am a bit fortunate to pick up the pieces. ;) See you at the next one.

    CALL OUT TO ALL DRIVERS
We need a lot more drivers for the last SRO 2025 series. Currently, we are at just 14 signups. We need to go, at least, over 20 to make this last series a real success!
Both the Porsche 917 and the GT Revival mod are high-quality cars. Rob Milliken en Neil Wood are on stand-by to do the broadcast, providing we have enough drivers.
Please try the cars and consider joining this last series of the year. The server is up!

Hope you enjoyed the broadcasts, with the graphics I tried my best to emulate a bit of the ESPN F1 coverage from the 80s (as I am currently going through and watching all the old races). Thanks for letting me flex my create muscles :) I have been building some tools in the background to help a bit with overlays and such.

Rob and I have technical limitations with the stream but I think we did OK. If you guys have any feedback on what you would like to see with future broadcasts then let us know.

I think it would be cool at some point to have a broadcast waiting room which drivers can join at the end of the race so we can pull them into the broadcast booth for a little interview.

I don't know if it's possible, but a "replay" function during the race for incidents and moments would be a great addition.

Yeah, we may have a solution for that, just need to work out the logistics as I am basically blind for the live footage :)

Oh another thing... if any of you know the font used for the SRO logo and the subtitle let me know.

Congratulations to Lars and Philipp, good race as always!

I got a little understeer behind Philipp's wake, while setting up for the last corner to hit the apex and start clocking some fast laps into the 39s or 38s.

But my race got ruined by a back marker, as it usually happens. He would not back-off under blue flag before the chicane, I had to overtake, I almost crashed on the wall and cut the chicane for which I got a drive-thru on the lap that I was supposed to pit for new tires, so then I had to pit again next lap, lost a lot of time and both Lars and Philipp passed.

I have lost count how many races and titles I have lost because of back markers, I don't get it. You have nothing to lose, all you're doing is ruin someone else's race for nothing, it's pure lack of respect and sportsmanship. EDIT BY ADMIN [TEXT REMOVED TO KEEP THINGS NICE].

I didn't do any personal attack or write something "not nice" or disrespectful, I don't even know who it was. I don't expect everyone to be nice to me on the track, the point is everyone has to race properly. Either blue flags exist or they don't, we can't have some drivers behave normally and some not, faster drivers must know what to expect. If I knew that we don't care about blue flags at all I would have waited and overtaken normally as if we were battling for position, now it's a guessing game about what the other driver is thinking.

Not everybody has the same knowledge about racing rules. You might be surprised, but there are people who don't know what blue flags mean and they think that every car that tries to pass them is for position. They don't realise they're being lapped. Most of us do know what a blue flag means and we have the respect to let them through at a convenient point.

What you wrote at the end sets a negative tone. I was cleaning up the text a bit :)
