Caitlin the race starts at the UK time of 18:15 which is 17:15 GMT Gert if Netherlands changed its clock this weekend like the UK, which I think it did (?) the race should be the same time as the others for you, not 1hr later.
I tried this and was able to delete it. But still get the missing content error. Looks like I am out,
I also had the problem after creating the new vmod yesterday Mark and uninstalling/deleting the older mod file worked for me. That is definitely the solution. Check the new vmod is actually installed with Modmgr.exe
Uninstalled the track and reinstalled. Made sure the mod was deleted. Restarted RF2 and get the same error. Oh well. I tried Have fun!
Mark a new vmod was created yesterday as it wasn't set to use a Fixed Setup for the car. Uninstall the existing **R6 vmod, close rF2, start rF2 & join the server.
I just had a big panic. I went for a nap and set my alarm for 3PM, thinking that the race was at 4PM due to the clocks changing, but I slept through it and found that I'd actually set my alarm for 3AM... I thought I'd missed the race, but I've only just realised that the clocks went FORWARD, not back, so the race actually starts in 20 minutes! Phew!
@Ken Jagger bruh, i get a bug from the game and u can't even bother to restart the race i start 30 seconds behind everyone and u don't give a damn your the admin right? do admin stuff then wtf
i miss the start of the GP for this and no one gives a f***, and ill wait for you now to blame it on me
Oussama I suggest you tone down your comments and not be so aggressive, as frustrating as it was for you. At SRO we do not restart servers unless of a major problem, affecting the majority of the field.
See the race page about restarts: Your flag was fixed a couple of days back, but you might need to clear your Browser cache.
Race & series recap. I have been looking forward to a title battle with Anatoliy for the championship for the last 2 weeks. Looking at the lifetiming our practise times were very close so it could have been a great fight, unfortunately Anatoliy could not participate what meant the title was almost certainly in the pocket. Nevertheless winning a title without a race win would have been a cake without icing, so I was happy to win yesterdays race in a grandslam fashion. My qualifying lap was on the limit while almost drifting through some of the corners. I was surpriced it was 1.11.3 since I had never been faster then 1.11.6. I had a good start and could easily pull a 5s gap in the opening laps. From that point I tried to put in consistent laps and not be to aggressive out of the hairpins heating up the rears and losing grip. I took a lot of fuel and pitted 45 minutes into the race knowing there was a lot of wear on the soft tire. At the end I kept pushing for quickest lap times also to keep focussed. After the finish line I was glad I had a good race without mistakes. The first 2 events of this series I was still driving my old T150, which I replaced by the CSL DD which I am drving for two months now. After getting used to the different force feedback, I had more confident starting on the hard tire which I could manage much better than before. Also braking with a load cell is something I still have to get used to. What made this series great was the variety of some Japanese tracks I never driven (Okayama, Sugo, Autopolis). The flowing corners and elevation changes makes these tracks very exciting to drive. So thanks Ken for creating this series. The fixed setup was also something new to me, because I usually create a setup to my driving style, instead of adjusting the driving style to the setting. The default setting of this car is far from optimal, looking at the way the tyres heat and how easily the rear steps out, but everybody had to deal with the same situation. Thank you all for the great racing and CU on track.
It is frustrating when your "car" has a glitch at the start. And we care. We want everyone to have a good experience at SRO. As Ken mentioned we don't restart unless there is a server issue. A server issue would affect most everyone on the grid. And I think we've all been there at one time or another. If it hasn't happened, it will eventually. You got yours out of the way early Hope to see you continue racing here.
Hi All Well I had to go downstairs after practice and arrived late for quali . done the best I could. When I was farting about setting the fuel I heard lights countdown tone. Panicked and joined the race and made the start. My pace was rubbish and I got greedy with the throttle in the last turn and oversteered right into barrier on the inside . My engine stalled and it was all over . So basically the usual story from me. P.S. sorry to the person who ran into the back of me in quali. I left the pitlane clear and the got walloped two corners or so later . Was on an out lap and only saw blue flag as I got hit. It was a surprise as I wasn't hanging about on the lap . Sorry if it was my bad I saw you continue on ok and I didn't suffer damage so hopefully no harm was done. Congrats Gert on the race win and the series winner Thanks Ken for organising what was a very enjoyable series even though I got nowhere it was good to race again Registered for Automobil;ista CART in April so hopefully will do a bit better and at least finish some races
