The in-game code is an attempt at managing track cutting, which lets face doesn't work very well. We had more complaints about the penalties being given during races, which is why we disabled it on our servers. And pigs might fly someday....
The results were never posted until after the video review was completed today, which was more than an hour before you posted this Darrel . Have you not looked on the front page yet?
I guess I'm an idiot, cause I can't find the front page. I was going to look at the final standings for the whole leaugue, is there somewhere to see that? I have never seen anything that sayes it is the 'front page'.
Ken is referring to the Home Page. The results are listed in the right side bar. Final standings for the event can be found here: https://simracingonline.co.uk/racing/eventinfo/1321
We are having a problem with communication, I was looking for the final league standings. I found the last race results, thanks.
Yea, I usually find it on the series page, that is hard to find. I wanted to be sure I beat 'ed'! ha! thks!
Thanks to Ken and ACD for the championship. Didn't plan to run it, but joined in at round 2 to try to help Jens with the team championship. Went decent at round 2, but got destroyed by Toni and Alexander (though the latter DC) Round 3 at Norisring, I was about to unregister as I couldn't setup the car for the hump going into the T2 chicane. Then I noticed I had a setup from the 2015? DTM cars from when I raced at Norisring previously, loaded it, and that changed everything. I used this same setup for the following 2 rounds (very slightyl tweaked) which proved competitive, taking pole in each with a 1st and 2nd place result. Oschersleben however, it didn't seem to work so well as previous tracks, or maybe I just couldn't get the hang of the track. Had a couple of spins when running on the kerbs, and a good fight with Ken for a few laps on much fresher tyres, but just no way to pass without doing some stupid late lunge. Managed to still get some champagne on the podium bottom step. Congrats to Jens for taking the championship. Congrats Redline Racing 2.0 for the team championship.
I joined at the last minute, having only downloaded the car and track the day before, so had little time to get used to it. Thankfully, a few usual tweaks to the default setup proved to work well. I was pushing Goncalo hard for the first 8-10 laps or so before he eventually went off in front of me, chasing me to get out of the throttle, which gave Jens the opportunity to pass into 1st. The pace Slowed a little after that, until I lost my connection a lap or so later! Never happened to me before, re-joined the race, but had lost about 4 laps by the time I’d logged back on. The cars are a blast to drive though and I was looking forward to the second half of the race. I really enjoy the touring cars in rf2 and hope there are more series like these to come.
Grats to Jens on his Driver Championship win and also with the help of Chris, the Team Championship for Redline Racing 2.0. It was a strongly, close fought series with some good racing along the way. Thanks to all those SRO Members who ran in the series, especially those who stuck it out to the bitter end .
