Wow, That was fun. I have now set a Pit Request button, as my stall didn't show so I had to drive very slow to make a lap with only half a lap of fuel;~
Just about made it. SHame about this as my pace was just getting into a groove and I was even catching the leader.
    Fun Fun Fun though :)

I stuck around till the end of the broadcast because you and Rob really kept it entertaining for us with just 4 cars on track. :)
I would have loved to finish, but it wasn't in the stars today.

If it's anyone's intention to file a protest, please let me know in my mail.
Otherwise, I will get the results done.

Am I correct in thinking your Historic F2 race ended the same way??

Oh dear, that was a rollercoaster. Was not confident in the last two sectors, even Tonis set ups did not help, would have needed more practice to get faster. And even though I was not near the limit, I still managed to crash two times in the same corner. Steering was bent two times as a result, repair took 300 secs plus. That meant I was dead last at one point, but in a survival race the most important thing is to have a running car and to see the finish line.

It is also quite telling, was definitely not the fastest driver this year, but maybe the guy with the most perseverance. Did every race of this series except for one (I destroyed my rf2 needlessly the day before the race and noticed it too late to fix it). Apart from that, I finished every of the 23 races I started (season did run from 12th of January to the 14th of December) - no disconnect nor start crash (e.g. Kyalami F1 1984) did stop me. Of course that is lucky too, so easy that your race is ended by none of your fault.

I am not sure if that whole "overall champ" champ is legit, but even if - it would be weird in doing so, because I won none of the 24 races. And to get eight podiums is probably not bad but also not something special. In each of the four series someone else collected more points IR18 (Nick Westy), P2 & GTE (Nick Westy and Roman Granatovich), F1 1984 (Lars Hagemann) and WSC70 & GT Revival (Björn Hagemann and Phil Brown). Kudos guys and thanks everybody for the competition.

Special thanks to John for organising/hosting (no secret I liked the open wheelers - fantastic mod/track choice there) and the broadcasting team (that replay feature is neat) oh and Randy for helping out with that disco protocol (good that the mass discos disappeared, hope you can sort out yours too).

And last but not least, Toni and @Matej Dakskobler for special advice here and there. Time for a break now, hope to see you all next here :)

Well, I definitely did not expect to end up 3rd on the road in a GT car going into this race  But I've apparently spent all my crash credits in qualifying already to somehow make it through in these conditions.

I'm still a bit upset about being somewhat involved in Toni's accident but having watched it back, I'm not even sure what I could've done differently.

Overall, I had a very fun time in my two appearances in this series - happy to have given RF2 another go and can't wait for next year. Thanks for hosting and for the entertaining commentary on the broadcast!

Can't remember, but you could be right. I don't often finish a race on this track :)

..i think Nick mentioned in teamspeak he did pit-request.
another way to spoil it (and dont get the red arrow) is to not make the right pit entrance (right side of the pit sign).....

That was some crazy S&$T !! hah the 'old bird rF2' did well, providing us with some epic racing. It was a lot of fun broadcasting this championship & cant wait to do another one!

I'm trying to talk Neil into broadcasting the 2026 LMU Multiclass championship with me, so let's hope he says yes, as his input, motorsport knowledge, and technical skill set make it all so much better! :D

SRO has a special prize for the 2025 WS champion! Stay tuned for the announcement! ;)
