The opposite for me. Very bright sand and sky. Prefer the tyre markers at Bridgehampton hey guys?

No issues with the track or its lighting for me, looked spot on. Flat and featureless yes, but that’s where they built it. Disliked the cut tyres but they keep you focused on the track!
Was pleased to finish 4th but had a bit of a dull race with the poorer turnout and nobody near me after 20 mins. Kept setting decent times but the front 3 were in the 32’s o_O and I steadily fell back. This track rewarded precision but I kept getting a wheel in the sand here and there and each time it was costly. By half distance I was 4th after good early scraps with Jari and Kimi but then lonely run to the flag, still a fine 4th :)
Enjoyed the car and track selection, good series

Good fun while it lasted. About 11 laps under my belt before clipping a polo and launching the Lola. AC textures are such that I can barely see them in the first place; I just know that they are there and not to be messed with. I got to dice with a couple of cars that had fallen off the road and dropped behind me for a bit.

The 12-year old Logi G25 kinda hopeless for coping with this sim. Zero road feel and ditto for the brakes.

Thanks for hosting this series! :)

Actually I was trying a lot of things before the race to improve my framerate, which didn't work by the way. And when I disabled Weather FX in CSP it was also really dark for me. I re-enabled it afterwards. This is a track problem though as there are many. But yes, that looked really dark.

Yup, I thought about this possibility when reading comments of other drivers not experiencing this issue. Even while in the server it was pretty suspect that nobody else was complaining about that.
Join us on the Ferrari 250 GTO series guys, thursday will be a blast for sure !

odd on the lighting, the track was fine for me in both VR and my triples, as i tried both in different sessions! Do you guys keep your Nvidia drivers updated? I didnt use content manager this time, just fired up from AC front end but had also used Cm without a problem with lighting conditions.

I'm having framerate issues again in VR for the last two races. Really frustrating as I stopped racing for a few months prior to this championship. The first 4 rounds were very smooth and I can't put my finger on what is causing it yet. Before the race started I tried to turn off a lot of things but it didn't help. Just looking at the sky my framerate isn't even stable.. Offline it is perfectly smooth though. I hope I can fix it soon because I'm unable to drive on the limit like this, so I have to slow down and try to keep it on track, just like I had to at Riverside. In terms of pace these last two rounds were quite bad for me.

That being said I was happy with 3rd position yesterday on a track I didn't know. As the race progressed and I learned the track more my times were improving though.

Congratulations to Maddie for her win in the championship! Congrats to Philip too who is very fast. He has shown it in multiple races where he was able to crawl back to podium positions after being quite a bit down in the field. I also have to praise the new point scoring system which is MUCH better in my opinion. Philip was now able to overtake me in the final standings despite having missed a race. With the old system that would not have been possible. I hope we keep it for further events!

I have struggled with setup on this car from the start and I still have no idea how Maddie and Philip setup their car to be so quick on the straights. I saw Maddie scraping the asfalt a few times in front of me so that suggest she lowered the suspension? Now the championship is done I would really appreciate it if they could share their setups so I can see where I was going wrong on some races.

Thanks John for organizing it although he hated the car more by each round :) Thanks Caitlyn for the commentary. And all fellow racers in the series! I hope to get my issues fixed for the next championship so I can be competitive again!

Had a fun little flip about halfway through, but luckily I landed back on my wheels haha. Can't really say I enjoyed the track too much, there were a few good corners but that was offset by the few horrible ones. The car was okay, do wish that the sound bug wasn't there though. Overall enjoyed myself, some decent battles throughout. :)

I wouldn't say we changed too much race to race bar ride heights but here's our Bridgehampton setup which is probably the most 'universal' of the bunch.
