You are probably in law school :D.
My answer on the server was that in the "race" session, the pit stals were besides the guard rail on the start straight and that I couldn't remember where it was in qual.
That is correct. I don't think you can blame me for being ill-prepaired for an event. You should know these things out of your own experience in preparation for the event.

I watched the replay and that is what happened. Chris lifted of to avoid an accident in front of him and that was the reason that Neil, who was close behind him, hit him.
Neil is not to be blamed for that. Race incident.

No, Chris! Don't quit because of this. The rest of the series is more straightforward trackwise, and plus, Rob needs you to keep him honest in this championship fight.

I think there was a miscommunication when it comes to the pitting thing.
Having done this layout of the circuit before back in the historic F3 series, I knew that the pit lane is different from the holding area, so what I wanted to know was which one we were supposed to go into in order to escape in qualifying so as not to get a penalty if we went back out again. John obviously mistook this for me asking where the pitlane was going to be in qualifying, which isn't what I meant. Not really anyone's fault here, just a miscommunication.

With that being said, I do think there should have been a note to all drivers to let them know where the pitlane is, due to its unusual configuration! We can't always be expected to figure it out ourselves, and I only knew where it was due to racing here before.

I feel your frustration, Chris, but please don't take it out on us during official sessions. The chat messages were unnecessary.

As for the quali thing with Rob, it clearly wasn't strictly fair, but in all honesty I think he would have won anyway (Providing he could avoid all the carnage, of course). I think a drive-through for the next round is fair, but on this occasion I'll gladly accept the P2.

I'm sorry to tell you all that Chris has asked me to close his SRO account. There were no reasons given.
I can only quess that it's the pitlane thing.

Rob Swindells has been given a drive-through penalty for the qual / Esc. incident for the next event.
We have chosen not to disqualify him from the Monte Carlo event because he came forward with the infriction on his own accord.

I'll start with the positive: I was on pole position! So...thats it.
1st lap? Yeah, I guess it takes two for a clash. @Rob de Vries took the first corner better than me and was almost alongside me until he caught me on the rear tire. I don't know how he imagined overtaking me from the outside there. Things like that happen at tracks like this, I guess.
I knew for myself that it would be very difficult to finish the race as I only had about 2 hours of practice on a track I was unfamiliar with.(well just the 3rd sector) BUT in these two hours I practiced a pit stop once and it worked out! Unfortunately the other couple of times in the real race it didn't work out and even though I sacrificed my whole race only to end up telling you how it all works, I still can't.:D But twice I managed to drive into the pits! The other few times the damn red box just disappeared right under my nose! Congratulations to Rob, Caitlin, John and Neil! Now that we've lost one up ahead, I have to keep Rob busy. And @Phil Brown has to come back too! On that note, see you all next time!

And one question: I don't know the rest of the tracks, but how should a drive-through on tracks like Monaco '66 look like? There is no speed limit in the "pits" and we did a drive-through practically every lap o_O

A drive through would pose a problem here, indeed. There would have to be another solution for the penalty.
Luckely that is now just an academic question :)

I did a stop and go in the Monaco pitlane this time.
