I'm going to have to back out of this series. I thought I would be able to race but I've come to realize that my weekend schedule is too full with other responsibilities and that I can't juggle them around enough to guarantee that I could make these races. I will have to stick to jumping in when I can on the weekends, at least for now. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Oh Jeez, aren't you people every happy! lol That's a shame and sorry for the mistake. The Lambo is the only car I've driven so far, no worries. Anyway, I try the #15 Lister/Tornado. I'll try and drive some laps on the server as soon as I can. Working all day tomorrow from 8am till 10pm but I'll try and lap once I get home
Lister is a pretty good workhorse. Not on the longstraight power tracks, but where it gets technical. So something to think about. The Ferrari 575 is also pretty good and 1 has just come free. The Viper is a pretty easy car to drive. Soft and smooth cornering and great power on the straights, but not so fast in the corners. Although some aliens do pretty good with it. The Saleen S7 is a potential race winner, although not on every track, but you'll be up front with it. 1 has just come free.
Done. Thank you. Can you do some laps with the car on the server, so Rob Milliken can get your steam/AC GUID info.
lol, it's worse than being in a sweet shop! Okey doke, when I get home tonight I'll have a play, sorry to hold everyone up on this. I was tempted by the Viper, if only to balance out the entry figures. Shame the MC12 isn't more competitive against these cars as it would have been cool to have included it as well. Will update later on as soon as I can
Ok, I'll stick with the Lister. Just can't live with the steering feel in Assetto Corsa, I'm hopeless on it. It's that horrible no grip feeling, like with the Group C's. Tried the Viper and the Saleen but cant get below a 2m 10s in either. Just can't carry any speed through the corners. I'm slightly quicker in the Lister at a 2m 9s but that's it. As soon as I try to attack a corner the front just ploughs straight on. I'll try my best but if it looks like I'll be banging my head against a brick wall I'll have to drop out, sorry. Such a shame, I love Assetto Corsa but I never have much fun racing on it.
Sorry for signing up so late. Life tends to get in the way of the fun stuff. I'll take a blister, I mean the #5 Lister. Thank you! As for paint job. Thank you for whoever is painting our cars for us. Something PINKISH will do. If not, I'll be happy with anything. I tried running on the server but couldn't find it. I know, I know, I'm late to the party. EDIT: Found the server! Or maybe some heard me crying.
Sounds like your steeringrotation is too fast. Is it 420 degrees or something? Ideally you real steeringwheel should match the same movement as on screen. Try setting it between 540 and 900 for what works. Try this for roadfeel: 1. go from FFB 100% to 120% with the + and - keys. 2. In the car setup menu go to "various' and set steering assist to 45. 3. you should also wait with pushing untill the tires are warmed up before you can tell what the car does right or wrong.
@Dario Walker @Stef Williams These are the last 2 drivers I need, minus the broadcasters Please jump on the server when you have a chance ! Thx!
@Rob Milliken So, i had the chance to try to see what does my livery look like yesterday. And it is still the"gulf" with blue/orange colours. However, i am totally fine with it and kind of attached to it. So i'd rather have that design now. Thank you
Tried to get on last night, but my machine had logged out at home. Last Pass didn't have the password for some reason, and I can't remember it, and then the password reminder email from the site didn't arrive! (Still waiting for it) Am logged on here, so at least can get server password, but I don't know if I'll be able to get on tonight as I'm busy - possibly v late in the evening. Definitely tomorrow evening though at the latest. Apologies...
Wow John ..I tried these settings and its a whole different car ! Just like Andrew I suffer from lack of feel in front in AC , This really helps .. In Fact its real good now One thing on the wheel ratio I also had issues in the C mod & turning my ratio from 900 to 540 in game seemed to help but then all my other AC cars had way to much over steer , Then I read in the AC forums a post By kunos himself saying that game automatically selects the proper ratio per car & if you have a 900* rotation wheel you need the in game setting to match it for it to be the correct ratio in game / car .. Now that said perhaps modded content does not have this auto conversion like kunos content does ?. I think it does tho ? .. Now for me I have gone back to 900 in game to match my Logitech settings and it feels great & with the settings above I feel everything … Andrew I recommend trying this You can tweek it to your liking but once over 110 to 120 the feel changes dramatically in a better way ! ..
Sorry guys have been really busy with work, I'll jump on tomorrow night if that's not too late Rob so you can get things sorted, being new to AC I might need a bit of help but I'll send you a PM if I get stuck with anything!
