true I lost my concentration because of 2 off-tracks and tried to stay at track at any cost))

 

Must apologise for our contact tonight on Lap 1, my brake pedal seemed to be very deep tonight and turned you which was totally my fault and I took my drive thru immediately.

 

I saw that you were in trouble, congratulations x the second position !!!

 

good race! my hard work started to be visible anyway, I still made some mistakes.. at the end of 4th lap I hit a bit @Roel Postma, unfortunately it had spin his car. apologize for that Roel. I tried to let you pass after, but instead I did let pass Alessio . then, in 10th I've got hit and lost quite lot of time there. I was also in a short battle with Nick, but he suddenly disappeared from the track just next to me. I was then catching Alessio till the end, but had not enough time to close quite big gap. thanks to all for that race. and especially Nick for whole series! really good job Nick! I look forward for next season with Rob

 

I was just behind you both at the end of the race, so next 1 - 2 laps would be very interesting if they were.

 

Yeah Patrik, my PC decided to tell me I had new drivers to download just as we were wheel to wheel at the top of the Straight, so I held it straight and put the brakes on until the track reappeared.

Suffice to say I have turned that notification off now!!

Hi @Rui Santos. would you share your wings setting for this track? I was not able to raise the speed on long straights just with lowering wings values. I used the setup from Jaap, just played a bit with wings. at the end I used the same values as for Brands Hatch, which is quite different kind of track I did not play with toe or camber as I'm not confident how to do it right. thx

 

I'm not home, but guess it was 8/14, setup from jaap, only changes wings... didn't had the time to practice a lot and my wheel was with the wrong ratio, could do better i think...

 

I used 24 for front wing and 6 and 9 for rear wings. ..and yeah, rf2 changes wheel ratio from automatic to some fixed value. It needs to be changed back. nevertheless, it did no disadvantage to you I'll join probably rf2 touring series until we start with F3 again. btw - if we will follow real F3 2018 series, it will be great. most of tracks I never seen and drove, so time to learn

 

I drove at PAU yesterday at RD. it was INTENSE . But once you get some confidence with a track you start to like it. Was about 2 sec off fast drivers there

 

In those F3 cars (guess you already learned that a bit) it's so much more than setup, forget the setup, i could win races here even with default one. What you need is to learn and understand what the car is doing, you need to do correct lines and respect entry/exit speeds.

Golden racing rule applies here: "Slow in, fast out"

 

I wish you guys good luck for future championships here, as i won't be racing here for some time due to my familiar restrictions. Already found another place to race, going to do the WTCC championship in a Portuguese community, races start 22:00h, which is perfect for me.
