I just bought the Porsche 992 GT3 R for the upcoming RaceRoom Daytona 2.4 Hour race, stoked to dive into this endurance beast. Check out this clip where I'm taking it for an initial shakedown lap without any custom setup tweaks, pure stock feel on Daytona's banking and infield to baseline its handling. I am 12 seconds off the best time on the leaderboard, let's see how much I can cut the time closer to the best time.

 

I just completed a practice race on Monza in preparation for today's Porsche race with 33 cars on the track. The AI was set at 90% and I was able to keep up with the leaders at that setting. I believe I could have performed better than finishing in last place. During the last turn of the race, I was among a group of 20 cars leading the pack, but unfortunately ran out of fuel. I fueled up for 10 laps with 10.2 litres, and I anticipate using 11 litres. Next, I need to calculate how many laps I can complete within a 45-minute time frame.

Regarding the Daytona event, I believe I need to withdraw. I don't have sufficient time to plan for that race. With 2 or 3 pits and 105 cars on the track, it is intimidating. I will practice with 100 cars and determine if I am prepared to race with such a large grid. It has been 5 years since I raced anything serious.

I participated in a Premium Leaderboard Competition because I had the car and track for the Daytona, so I wanted to try my luck at winning 500vrp. Perhaps I will also have a chance at winning a Random draw prize. Unfortunately, my chances of reaching the top 250 do not seem very promising. I have already upgraded my car to its maximum capacity at 271kph with my Porsche 992. I did not have time to participate in the free leaderboard competitions this week.

 

Changes coming with this week's ranked multiplayer thread. Images have been recreated in the announcements to enhance their uniqueness for our posts, and the race results will be included in the same announcement post. All the results of the past week is a bit messy how I was posting the results. Results will be posted on Mondays for now on.
