1. What is your name?
Endy Yates. I go by Tibernius (usually gets shortened to Tib) most places, though.

2. From what country are you?
Born and raised in the UK, now live in Slovenia.

3. How did you learn of Sim Racing Online?
I honestly don't remember. I was going through my browser bookmarks earlier looking for a league, and found this one.

4. Can your computer handle the newest racing games or only older games like rFactor 1?
It's a newish i5 and an RX580, so it should be fine with most games. Haven't tried it with ACC yet though.

5. What sim(s) do you like the most?
Most of my time was in Assetto Corsa and GTL.

6. What kind of racing type do you like the most (Single class / Multi class) or something else?
Usually either a single make series with ballast, or a series with pre-balanced cars like the GT3/GT4 classes.

7. What kind of car(s) do you most like to drive (Touring car / GT's / Prototypes / Open wheel) or something else?
Touring cars (especially 60s historics) and open wheel (especially the lower ones like Formula Ford or Formula Vee), with the lower GT classes a close third.

8. What are your favorite 3 tracks and in which game?
Cadwell Park - GT Legends,
Oulton Park - GT Legends,
Spielberg/Red Bull Ring - Assetto Corsa.

9. Do you like short races (30 min) or long races (90 min) or something else?
Usually somewhere between 20 and 60 minute races, depending on the car.

10. When did you start sim racing?
The first video games I played were mainly racing games (Formula 1 and the original Gran Turismo). I started simracing back in around 2006 after finding GTR2 on PC. From there I moved on quickly to GT Legends, and spent most of my track time on that.

11. What is the best day / time for you to race GMT?
Pretty much any day, as long as it's early enough. I prefer races that finish before or around 21:00 UK time, due to the time difference.

Additional information about yourself:
I took a bit of a break from simracing for a while after my last AC league closed. Started with some Dirt Rally leagues recently and it's reignited my interested.
Hopefully there's still space for the TCL league - there's a few names I recognise from my old GTL days signed up already.

 

Yeah, that's something I'm careful with since I've had issues with it before - when I swapped between two leagues I left a space in the "nickname" field in AC and it confused both me and the admins for a good few hours...

3. How did you learn of Sim Racing Online? One of my sum racing mates came across it after getting into rf2

4. Can your computer handle the newest racing games or only older games like rFactor 1? Ryzen r1700, gtx1080ti, it does pretty well, other than the pos which is assetto Corsa Competizione

5. What sim(s) do you like the most? Very much enjoying rfactor 2 atm. Was brought up on gran turismo then ventured into the world of project cars. Give me a sim and I'll try it. Apart from iracing. Screw iracing.

6. What kind of racing type do you like the most (Single class / Multi class) or something else? Multiclass endurance racing is best, but anything with 2 classes on track is excellent. Lapping (and being lapped) traffic is one of the finest arts of the racing world.

7. What kind of car(s) do you most like to drive (Touring car / GT's / Prototypes / Open wheel) or something else? Just needs 4 wheels and some kind of motor. F1/F3 multiclass anyone?

8. What are your favorite 3 tracks and in which game? Let's not do the game, but tracks; Spa Framcorchamps, Brands Hatch (rep up the local), and Bathurst. I beg for a 12h race around that place.

9. Do you like short races (30 min) or long races (90 min) or something else? Long form is where I'm best. I'm no hotlapper.

10. When did you start sim racing? Ignoring the GT stint, about 4 years ago. My passion for cars however, that's a lot further back.

11. What is the best day / time for you to race GMT? Most days post 6 GMT.

Additional information about yourself: I'm not an "if there is a gap, I go for it" person, I'm an "if I'm going to be beside you come the apex, I'll be there" kind of person.

3. How did you learn of Sim Racing Online? Well I have been playing PC2 for two years only on the individual mode and I think it is time to try online competition, so I am searching for on-line races or leagues. I saw the link on the PCARS2 forum.


4. Can your computer handle the newest racing games or only older games like rFactor 1? My PC is being able to run PCARS2 well. I`ve had a little bit of lag at some conditions and races but it`s been rare.


5. What sim(s) do you like the most? I've only played PCARS2 lately.


6. What kind of racing type do you like the most (Single class / Multi class) or something else? I am used to play single class but i wouldn't mind trying multi.


7. What kind of car(s) do you most like to drive (Touring car / GT's / Prototypes / Open wheel)? I have been driving GT's essentially (GT4)


8. What are your favorite 3 tracks and in witch game? Long Beach and Sonoma Raceway for sure because they`re the ones I`ve raced the most by far, the third one I dont really know, maybe Sakitto, in Japan. All of them on PC2.


9. Do you like short races (30 min) or long races (90 min) or something else? I prefer maybe something in between, maybe a 45-50 minutes long race is the best.


10. When did you start sim racing? Well I `ve been playing this game since May 2018. Previously I had played other simulators such as Grand Turismo or F1 at early 2000s


11. What is the best day / time for you to race GMT? It depends, I have a very changeable work schedule. The best hours are from 5 to 8 PM.


Additional information about yourself: Well as I said I am a newbie at online racing, as I registered on the site I saw there is an event next Thursday at Long Beach, I entered as it is one of my favourite and well known tracks, but i would like to know if I need to do something else and what, if so( e.g. install some extra application or whatever) cause it is my very first time at this and I don`t really know how it works. I like both Single and Multi class racing, multiclass I prefer enjoy a 4 hour + endurance race, single class should be a sprint series or small endurance like 2 hours or so

Every kind

i preffer shorter races as i can't really commit to longer ones

im very very bad at simracing, and often get worked up and sweaty when racing..which isnt fun cause i already have to wear bottles of deodrent per day as a teenager plus my simracer sweat now available at a degenerate store near you! ))

Additional information about yourself:

53 yrs old and a bit of a petrolhead since my teens.
Got heavily into Forza Motorsport on the Xbox360 in 2005 and every version since.
I have had brief dabbles in PC racing but not really done a lot.
I am not very fast, but try my best too keep out of the quick guys way, and hope there are some guys my pace that I can have good races with.
2 years ago I bought myself a wheel and it sat gathering dust until recently.
I now have it mounted on my desk in front of a 42" 4k TV and have started trying to put a bit of time in, but the group of guys I race with (from forza days) have varying commitments and so I find myself looking for some more regular racing buddies.
