STUDIO 397 has published the March 2017 rFactor 2 Roadmap blog bringing us up to date with the latest progress and upcoming content for the rFactor 2 racing simulator.

The rFactor2 development team is making good progress on the User Interface, VR support for the HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift, and DX11 implementation. They stated that the targeted “end of Q1” release will not be met, but the release quality promises to be worthwhile. The updated target for release is now May 1st.

As far as content is concerned, work on the upcoming Radical SR3 sportscar is shaping up nicely, Last but not least, STUDIO 397 announces that there is some very interesting new car and track content in the pipeline. We will keep you posted when we receive more news on this topic.

Kunos Simulazioni has released Update v1.13 for the PC version of Assetto Corsa.

Besides a list of fixes and improvements, this new update also brings a some very interesting new features such as the long-awaited OpenVR / VIVE support (beta) and new multiplayer features, including reversed grid races and mandatory pit stops. Furthermore, this update also deploys car Steam ID sharing functions which is one of the first steps needed to implement driver swap functionality.

As announced yesterday, Assetto Corsa V1.3 also includes some new and free of charge content in the form of the classic Mazda MX5 NA and the iconic Mazda 787B Group C car.

The Mazda 787B was a Group C sports-prototype engineered to compete in the World Sportscar Championship, All Japan Sports Prototype Championship and the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1990 and 1991. The 787B weighed 831 kg. It had a 2622 ccm 4-rotor 26B Wankel engine, mid-mounted with RWD and a 5-speed manual transmission. The Wankel engine delivered a whopping 700 HP@ 9000 RPM. The nimble Mazda MX-5 or Miata as it is known in North America debuted in 1989 and is ever since one of the most popular Roadsters available.

Hi all some of us staff was talking last night on Team, Speak and we came up with the idea of doing a nations cup.

In this cup we would more then likely use the USF2000 add on for rfactor 2 but we are open to ideas there.

So what is a nations cup you ask.
What it is 2 drivers from each country drive cars in there country colors to be given to you by us and then at the end of the cup the nation with the most points wins. Each round will be hosted in the country of each nation so you you get to race on home ground.
